Whilst it was not our intention to offer a rehoming service for Dogs partly due to family commitments we have have been contacted on a number of occassions with requests to help in the rehoming of some dogs. At the moment we only have one kennel which is left unnocupied and so we have on some occassions willingly tried to assist with the responsible rehoming of certain breeds. On some occassions we can help with the rehoming of Bull Breeds and subject to certain Criteria. There is no charge made to the person requesting the rehoming as any costs incurred are usual covered by the person who offers a new home to the dog.

Criteria

Prior to being put up for rehoming the Dog will have been vet checked.
If the animal is
KC registered then the papers will have been forwarded to Kennel Club for change of details to our name, If an animal is KC registered this is preferable as to ensure the animal is advertised as the breed it appears to be, also we are able to trace the ancestors and thus research into any behaviourable problems or Health issues within the line. We are unable to consider Dogs that are not UK Kennel Club registered and that are without the relevant paperwork.

All Prospective new homes must be able to care for the dog. The home must be a loving home.

The prospective new owners must be in a position to cover the dogs vetinary bills for the future either via payment or insurance, this ensures the pet will receive treatment as and when necessary.

The prospective owners must sign a new owners transfer of ownership contract.

Once the pet is settled in photos of the pet must be forwarded to us to ensure that we are able to forward them to the previous owners to confirm that the animal is in a suitable environment. A disposable camera is usually given when the animal is taken to provide these. We are unable to allow viewings etc of dogs by previous owners once they have been collected. This is due to the fact that it will confuse the dog and will create Data protection problems. Once a Dog is rehomed it will be owned by New owners and we cannot expect them to arrange/allow visits.

Under NO circumstances will a Dog be rehomed if it has shown any aggresssive tendencies towards children or other huamns, we do understand that a pet may have been territorial which is normal and protect its home from intruders so you may wish to contact us for verification if there are any areas of worry. after all you may wish your dog to be rehomed in a certain environment and we need to be sure that the pet is given the most suitable and appropriate environment possible.

If you wish to enquire regarding rehoming a pet of the above breed then please contact us either by:
Email or calling 01298 814475 .

Depending on the actual Pet the cost to the new owners varies.

Recently we have been contacted more and more from people wanting help with rehoming. In light of this we have decided to make the service more accessible to set up a free rehoming online forum. If you wish to use this free service then please click the link below and leave your details. Remember this is a public forum and only legal dogs may be advertised here. Dogs which are subject to the dangerous dogs act will be removed. We will only allow dogs to be highlighted in this area that are socially stable that is to say non aggressive to humans.

Breed: Dog de Bordeaux

Rehomed from: Cheshire

Rehomed to: Lancashire

Male KC registered just under 3 years old. We have been asked to help rehome him. He is intact, but has not fathered any litters. This is unfortunately due to a death in the family and the change of circumstances this has created. He comes with full KC paperwork and vet details, he is up to date with his injections. We were advised he is a little boisterous, but he has not shown this trait whilst being with us, He is quite nervous so ideally new home would be someone who could provide regular routine for him and be used to large breeds. Preference will be given to people with experience of the breed of Large Bull Breeds. He is coming from a home with a very small child (several months old) so he is from a family home. He is to be ideally homed with a couple, single adult, or a family with older children, preference to a rural area so he can have the freedom his nervousness could warrant. He will need someone whom he can trust and will show him the love he deserves. In his previous home he was protective of the gated property. Checks on New Home will be done and rehoming will be to a permanent loving home only. Vet checks will be done and new owner will be expected to sign a rehoming agreement. We ourselves are Kennel Club accredited breeders and we will only rehome in accordance to relevant criteria.

Ella has been rehomed through no fault of her own. She had been with the same family since she was a puppy but unfortunately there was a breakdown in the marriage, and she could not go with the owner to her new home.

She is a lovely dog with a fantastic temprament and hope she will be happy with her new family in Cheshire.

We received a call prior to Christmas 2008 asking if we could help rehome Vinny a boisterous Bulldog. He had as was acknowledged by his owners been spoilt and pampered since they bought him as a pup. Due to a change in circumstances and the fact they recognized the stubbornness of the Bull Breed they felt they could no longer keep him.

We met to take Vinny and took him home with the initial intention of our daughter keeping him. You will notice in one of the photos she had edited to say My Baby. This was not to be though due to her studies and so we managed to find a new lovely home with a family in Bristol who had a Bulldog previously who had died a few months earlier.

We have had some contact from new home and he has settled in fine we have been informed.

We received a call asking us to rehome an American Bulldog, due to a serious illness with the previous owners.

We we arrived the paperwork we were shown was from a registration Club named UNITED NATIONAL KENNEL CLUB, we had never heard of them before, and the contact details for them are very sketchy. We show the paperwork and that the 'certificate;' has no contact details for breeder or the registration company. The paperwork states she is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier however upon verification from Derbyshire Police (under Dangerous Dogs act) she was confirmed as being an American Bulldog.

She is very loving and loves to play with toys and fetch. She is very loyal and stays by your side as much as she can.

We are pleased to announce that Tyra has now been rehomed to a loving family in Nottinghamshire.

She will have a family environment and another Bull Terrier to play with.

Britney was rehomed between Christmas 2007 and New Year 2008. Her owner was no longer around and so we were asked if we could help rehome her. She was underweight and in need of some TLC and ideally was suited in a family environment. She was a Full Pedigree we were advised, but no Papers could be supplied due to her owner not be available.

She was rehomed in a family environment to a home which has one of our litter.

We shall add more photos as she gains weight to show her blossoming into the beautiful dog that she should be.

Max is overweight and boistrous, he has no pedigree papers but is microchipped.

Update February 2006:

Max is doing well in his new home. He has lost some of the weight he needed to loose but still has a little way to go.

He now has a new playmate which is a 4 week old Bulldog puppy. They appear to be getting on very well although obviously the size difference is being supervised. There appear to be no other problems.

Arley was rehomed after her owners were unable to look after her. She came from a family Background and was Rehomed with a Family in Derbyshire. She was not good with other Dogs.

About 4 months after rehoming lumps started to be found around her neckline and after only 1 year she had to be Euthanised on vets rcommendation as the Cancer had spread so much. However the Home in Which she was rehomed now has one of our own bred Pups named Henry.

Thank you to the home that gave her a new home and for looking after her through her illness.

Wilson was a top quality Bulldog with an excellent Pedigree with mostly Champion on. We were asked to rehome him by his owners as the Adults in the house had work commitments and illness with their son.

He was a lovely dog although very protective.

He was rehomed to a Bulldog lover in Northamptonshire. We asked for updates but unfortunately this never arrived.
